How heat transfer fluids and system inhibitors work

A system inhibitor protects against sludging and extended stressing of circulation pumps and valves by preventing internal corrosion.

Heat transfer fluid is highly sensitive to heat, even from something that does not really feel warm to the touch. Most UK glycols are capable of extracting heat from surrounding elements that are as low as -9˚C, well within the normal UK weather conditions. The quality of the Mono Propylene Glycol used and the dilution is a crucial whole of the system component.
